Predicted Liverpool and Leicester City line-ups: Defensive change for Rodgers

Match to be played on Thursday 1st January 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Anfield, Liverpool.

Liverpool will be extremely confident of a result heading into their next game against Leicester City.

The Reds were superb in the 4-1 win against Swansea City, as they gradually took control of the game to create a throwback to the dominant performances they produced on a weekly basis last season.

Brendan Rodgers faces several challenges heading into the New Year, but his team will be confident of a win against Leicester at Anfield.

It’s a real challenge for the Foxes as they desperately need points to avoid getting stuck in a relegation battle over the second half of the season.

It will be interesting to see if either manager makes many changes to rest key players and inject some fresh legs for the important fixture.

Here are the potential sides that each boss could go with.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Toure, Sakho, Manquillo, Gerrard, Henderson, Moreno, Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling

Leicester City: Hamer, Simpson, Wasilewski, Morgan, de Laet, Mahrez, Cambiasso, Drinkwater, James, Schlupp, Nugent
