With 2015 almost upon us, we take a look at the best moments of Queens Park Rangers in 2014.

Gaining promotion to Premier League

Queens Park Rangers were expected to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, but they did it the hard way.

Rangers finished in the top six of the Championship last season and reached the final of the playoffs.

Although it was Derby County who were the better team in the final at London’s Wembley Stadium, Bobby Zamora’s late goal saw QPR return to the English top flight.

Not sacking Harry Redknapp

As expected, QPR struggled at the start of the 2014-15 campaign and manager Harry Redknapp came under pressure.

However, club chairman Tony Fernandes did not take any drastic measures, and Rangers are now in a better position than many would have expected them to.

Charlie Austin hat-trick (December 20, 2014)

Charlie Austin has been on fire in the Premier League this season and scored a hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion before Christmas.

The 25-year-old striker scored all three goals as QPR came from two goals down to defeat the Baggies 3-2 at Loftus Road in the Premier League.
