Manchester City morning news: Nasri on where City are learning, Miranda update

A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester City.

Samir Nasri feels the experience of past mistakes will help his side in the Premier League title run.

City are still in the hunt to retain the title, as they sit just three points behind league leaders Chelsea.

“We learn from our mistakes. I don't know how many points we were behind United at this stage - we finished 11 or 12 behind them. But I know this will not happen. All we want is to win the league again,” said the Frenchman.

The Mirror claims Manchester City are leading the race to sign Joao Miranda from Atletico Madrid.

The 30-year-old has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, but the Mirror feels City are in the best position to make a move.

The paper also claims that current City defender Matija Nastasic could be sold during the January window.

Manchester City are being tipped to switch the loan deal of youngster Bruno Zuculini.

The Argentina under-20 international is currently at Valencia, but could move to Getafe after concerns about the amount of playing time he’s receiving according to the Mirror.
