A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Tuesday evening.

Tottenham midfielder Nacer Chadli is in a confident mood ahead of the side's meeting with league leaders Chelsea at White Hart Lane for the first game of 2015.

Chadli was also pleased with the performance the side put in against Manchester United on Sunday in their 0-0 draw with each other.

He told the club's website: “No games are easy but Newcastle beat Chelsea so why can’t we beat them? We have to play our game and we’ll see how we go.

“I think we have a lot of confidence at this moment, we had a good draw on Sunday and we have been winning games as well.”

The finance director of Queens Park Rangers is to take up a post at Spurs according to West London Sport.

Rebecca Caplehorn has been appointed as the new head of football operations at White Hart Lane after five years working at Loftus Road.

Tottenham have been strongly linked with a move for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino over the festive period, with the Baggies forward said to cost in excess of £20 million.

Liverpool are also reportedly interested but West Bromwich Albion took to twitter to deny reports linking the forward with the Merseysiders, but no mention of Tottenham.
