‘He’ll get lost in Holland’ – Andrej Kramaric warned off Chelsea move

Chelsea's loan system has been used as a warning for alleged target Andrej Kramaric.

According to recent reports, Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Andrej Kramaric – the 23-year-old striker who is attracting interest from clubs across Europe after scoring 28 goals in 30 matches this season.

The HNK Rijeka front-man is said to prefer a move to Chelsea over another alleged Premier League suitor, Chelsea, but Rijeka-based agent Predrag Racki has told Sportske Novosti that might not be the best move.

Chelsea famously have a number of young players currently out on loan, with clubs across Europe benefiting from the Blues’ riches when it comes to their playing staff. But with it being such a challenge to force your way into Jose Mourinho’s first-team right now, Racki believes Kramaric would be wise to look elsewhere.

“If he chooses Chelsea, Kramaric will never set foot on the Stamford Bridge pitch,” Racki is quoted as saying. “He will get lost in Holland, just like Delac, Pasalic and Perica.”

The players Racki referred to are all currently on loan from Chelsea, with Matej Delac at Arles, Mario Pasalic at Elche and Stipe Perica at NAC Breda.

And when you consider the huge amount of Chelsea players currently not at Stamford Bridge, along with all those currently fighting for a first-team place in London, there may be some sense in Kramaric considering alternatives, no matter how many goals he has netted for his current club and how big his reputation currently is.
