Mix Diskerud's father praises Deila

Reported Celtic target Mix Diskerud's father has spoken of his admiration for Ronny Deila.

Diskerud has been linked with Celtic for some time and it seems that he will have the backing of his family if he does opt to move to Parkhead.

"Ronny Deila is a fantastic guy, a good person and is a coach I’ve been following closely," Diskuerud's father Paal said to the Express. "Mix is free to leave Rosenborg."

Guidetti backed by Deila

Ronny Deila does not believe Celtic striker John Guidetti is far away from ending his goal drought.

The Swede started his career at Parkhead in startling form, but the goals have slowed down more recently. However, it is not something which panics his manager.

"It's just small details that we're going to have to have to work on and turn around," Deila said to the Scottish Evening Times

Macleod interests Brentford

Brentford have made an offer for Rangers midfielder Lewis Macleod, according to the Daily Mail.

Macleod has impressed hugely this season with a series of stellar performances, and Brentford have joined a host of Premier League clubs reportedly chasing his signature.
