Chelsea fans have wished Fernando Torres well after he completed an 18-month loan move to Atletico Madrid earlier today.
Torres had only just agreed to make his temporary switch to AC Milan permanent, but the Italian giants have allowed him to move back to the club were he made his name.
It is a move that Torres has seemingly been hoping to make for some time, with his confidence taking a battering in recent seasons.
The 30-year-old striker failed to make a success of his spell at Stamford Bridge, scoring just 45 goals in 172 appearances for the Blues after moving for £50 million from Liverpool in 2011.
Despite his troubles, Chelsea fans have wished Torres well. Torres may not have lived up to expectations, but he has helped deliver unprecedented success to the London club.
The Spaniard played a part in their Champions League and Europa League triumphs, whilst he also lifted the FA Cup.
It means that he remains fondly remembered by most at Stamford Bridge and their hope is that a move back to Atleti, where he scored 91 goals in 244 appearances earlier in his career, will help him back to his very best.
Here is the best reaction from Chelsea fans on social media site to Torres's loan move to Atletico Madrid.
