Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Manchester United - Lloris the hero for Spurs!

Tottenham and Manchester United played out a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

The two sides went into this game in top form, with Spurs winning their last three games in the Premier League, whilst United had won six of their last seven games entering the game.

Both teams have aspirations of a top four finish, but neither side could make the breakthrough today in an interesting encounter, with one player stealing the show.

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris kept United at bay with a string of fine saves, keeping the likes of Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie at bay with any part of his body that he could get in the way.

United had the better chances to win the game but couldn't find the goal, with Falcao struggling with the rigours of playing twice in three days.

The second half was a much more comfortable time for Lloris, who racked up five saves, three catches and two punches in a remarkable first half showing.

The result leaves United in third place, whilst Tottenham are in seventh place, maintaining their recent unbeaten run under Mauricio Pochettino.
