Manchester United are likely have the option to welcome back Ander Herrera against Stoke City.
The midfielder has only made six Premier League starts since his £30 million summer move, the last being in the home game against the same opponents early this month.
He provided an assist in that game, and has two substitute appearances since then, the last coming in the 3-0 win over Liverpool, missing the three subsequent games.
Louis van Gaal confirmed after United's win that Herrera will be available for selection at the Britannia, while it's also possible Marouane Fellaini will have recovered from his illness.
Of the two Fellaini is more likely to go straight into the side, with his aerial presence being a more urgent requirement away to Stoke, who are known for their ability in the air.
Herrera's comeback, if he can stay fit however, promises to be of huge benefit to United, contributing five goals via two strikes and three assists in his total nine appearances for the Red Devils.
He has impressed in almost every appearance to date since signing, and it's fair to suggest that had he been available against Tottenham he could have been key in helping the Red Devils make the breakthrough.
