CONFIRMED: Tottenham v Manchester United line-ups; Lamela benched, Townsend starts!

Here is how Tottenham and Manchester United will line up for today’s Premier League clash at White Hart Lane...

Tottenham starting line-up: Lloris; Chiriches, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies; Mason, Stambouli; Townsend, Eriksen, Chadli; Kane.

Tottenham substitutes: Vorm, Dier, Walker, Lamela, Dembele, Paulinho, Soldado.

Manchester United starting line-up: De Gea; Jones, McNair, Evans; Valencia, Carrick, Rooney, Mata, Young; van Persie, Falcao.

Manchester United substitutes: Lindegaard, Rafael, Smalling, Shaw, Fletcher, Pereira, Wilson.

Two in-form teams go head to head this afternoon as Tottenham lock horns with Manchester United at White Hart Lane.

Spurs may have had an inconsistent start to life under Mauricio Pochettino, but they have now won three games in a row - all of them with the scoreline of 2-1!

Pochettino has rotated his squad having played on Friday, with Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Nabil Bentaleb and Erik Lamela dropping out of the starting line-up in favour of Vlad Chiriches, Ben Davies, Ryan Mason and Andros Townsend.

There's no such tinkering from Louis van Gaal though, who, amidst all his changes this season, has finally stuck with the same team from the last game, which was ironically just two days ago.

Wayne Rooney continues in midfield, with Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao leading the line. Van Gaal has led United to seven wins from the last eight games, and he'll be looking for his side to continue their fine form in what promises to be a close encounter in North London.
