West Ham United lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
West Ham fans were left disappointed on Boxing Day as they watched their side lose 2-0 away at Chelsea.
With a great record so far this season, the Hammers traveled from East to West London on Friday in search of a result to prove that they can challenge for a top four place.
However, they came up short against Chelsea - which is no embarrassment for Sam Allardyce's men, with Jose Mourinho's Blues overpowering most of the Premier League so far this season.
Goals from John Terry and Diego Costa handed Chelsea all three points, though Morgan Amalfitano hit the post late on for West Ham, which could have set up a nervy finish.
Players took to Twitter to voice their disappointment with the result, but fortunately for them, they have a chance to rectify it, with another big London clash coming up with the visit of Arsenal on Sunday.
Goalkeeper Adrian, left back Aaron Cresswell and midfielder Diego Poyet all cited that Arsenal clash as something to look forward to after their defeat to Chelsea, whilst co-chairman David Gold believes Chelsea are the best team in the Premier League.
