Arsenal stars react to win over QPR.
Two watching Arsenal stars and one makeshift centre-back posted on Twitter after the club's 2-1 win over QPR.
The Gunners bounced back from their late draw against Liverpool to hold on for a win against Harry Redknapp's side, despite conceding a late consolation to Charlie Austin.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Tomas Rosicky had given Arsenal an ultimately insurmountable lead, despite the Chilean missing an early penalty.
The result kept Arsenal above rivals Tottenham in the Premier League table on goal difference, and gives them a great opportunity ahead of Sunday's clash with West Ham.
They are now just one point behind the Hammers who lost to Chelsea, and can climb from sixth to fifth with an away win, and face fourth placed Southampton the game after.
They will have to do that without striker Olivier Giroud who was sent off against QPR in the first half for a headbutt.
His indiscipline was not mentioned by the Arsenal stars who took to Twitter immediately after the loss. These included Nacho Monreal who played once again at centre-back, and Calum Chambers who was benched, and the injured Aaron Ramsey.
A good way to end my birthday watching the lads get 3 points. Well done! Thanks for all the tweets and wishes today— Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) December 26, 2014
