'I thought I did okay,' Griffiths reflects on Celtic draw

The SPL champions drew 0-0 with Ross County on Saturday afternoon.

Leigh Griffiths hopes he did enough against Ross County to earn himself a start for Celtic on New Year's Day.

A poor performance from Celtic saw Ronny Deila's men draw 0-0, with Griffiths failing to fire in behind John Guidetti.

The 24-year-old did, however, threaten during glimpses and could have done far more up front as a striker.

And Griffiths feels he 'did okay' during the goalless draw.

"Luck didn’t go our way. It’s a disappointing day but we look forward to Thursday now," Griffiths told reporters after Celtic's 0-0 draw.

"They came here to frustrate us and that’s what they did. They stuck to their plan and did well. I thought I did okay but it’s disappointing not to get on the score sheet or get the three points.

"With the strikers we have we will all score goals but it’s just about getting that run in the side. Hopefully I have done enough to get a start on Thursday."
