Fernando Torres is 'eager' for Atletico Madrid switch, says his brother

Israel Torres says his brother is very keen on a move back to Spain.

This summer Chelsea finally gave up on the services of Fernando Torres. The Spaniard cost them £50 million in a move from Liverpool but he is now on loan at Atletico Madrid.

However his time at Milan is not going as well as he would have hoped either.

Torres has failed to make an impact with the Rossoneri and it now looks as though he will see his two-year loan spell with AC Milan terminated, after just six months.

The Chelsea flop is now looking like going back to a former club. Liverpool were reported keen, but it looks like he will end up at Atletico Madrid with Alessio Cerci going in the opposite direction.

Now his brother has confirmed he would be open to a move back to Los Colchoneros.

Israel Torres told reporters at a charity event today:

"Fernando is eager to return to Atletico Madrid, he is very happy. It would be wonderful his return. It is still not done yet, we wait. "

It looks like Torres is all set to head back to his beloved Atletico, after yet another failed move.
