West Ham's superb season so far has seen manager Sam Allardyce get the most out of a number of his star players.
The likes of Winston Reid, Aaron Cresswell, Alex Song, Cheikhou Kouyate, Stewart Downing, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia have all been key to West Ham's haul of 31 points - which is already just nine points shy of their entire tally from last season.
A free agent signing back in June 2013, the former Real Betis goalkeeper has been nothing short of outstanding this season, making a number of top saves to keep opponents at bay.
With Manchester United's David De Gea assuming the mantle of top Spanish goalkeeper in the Premier League, Adrian sometimes fades into the background - but his manager Allardyce says that he is just as good as his compatriot De Gea.
"Adrian has been just as outstanding recently as De Gea and has helped us acquire the results we have been achieving," said Allardyce. "They look very similar as well in terms of their body structure and the way they keep goal."
"I have been extremely pleased that we managed to get him on a free transfer.I am also really pleased with the way he has settled into this league and the way he has performed consistently. That is the word. He has consistently been very, very good since he made his way into the side on a regular basis," he added.
