There were some sniggers when Bolton announced that they had signed veteran marksman Emile Heskey, but he proved his doubters wrong with a debut goal.
Bolton's strike force had a combined age of 72, but they rolled back the clock as Eidur Gudjohnsen fed Heskey to slide home against Blackburn.
Heskey had earned a place in Bolton's senior squad by playing for the development team having been without a club since returning from Australia.
While many had suggested that the former Aston Villa striker was no longer up to the task, he didn't waste any time finding the net.
