Stephen Warnock & Liam Cooper react on Twitter to Leeds defeat

The Leeds defenders were apologetic on social media... But is that good enough for their supporters?

Leeds United's run of form is now, quite simply, unacceptable.

The Yorkshire side have slipped to within four points of the Championship relegation zone and enough is enough if Neil Redfearn's men want to avoid plummeting out of reach.

A 2-0 defeat at home to Wigan Athletic yesterday was the latest in a long line of poor results for Leeds - and the 2-0 win over Derby County a few weeks ago now seems to be of a completely different age.

After the Boxing Day defeat, full-back Stephen Warnock took to Twitter to state that his side were not good enough.

Little did Warnock's message appease fans, however, and centre-back Liam Cooper was next to express his disappointment on social media.

The 23-year-old scored an own goal against Wigan and apologised for the mistake on Twitter.

Once again, though, many Leeds supporters were far from satisfied with a Twitter apology being the sum of their defender's contribution for the day.

Just where will Redfearn's next points come from...?
