The Hoops skipper has been reflecting on his time at Celtic Park.
Brown has gone on to enjoy years of success with the Bhoys since moving to the club in 2007.
But the Celtic skipper says his expectations were all wrong when he first came to the Hoops.
“When I first came to the club, I was very naive,” Brown told Celtic's matchday magazine. “At the time, I just thought, ‘This is another club and I will just go along and everything will be alright’.
“But people don’t understand how big this club is. You come along and there are expectations around you to win every week. I enjoy that. I was like that at Hibs as well – I always wanted to win and hated getting beat.
“You come to a club like this and every player wants that instead of seven or eight, so it means a lot to me to go out there and keep winning and keep wining leagues and cups. It’s huge.”
