Respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Lukas Podolski has a ‘concrete agreement’ with Inter Milan over a transfer away from Arsenal.
The German’s future has been the subject of intense speculation over the last few weeks, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger claiming that no formal approach has been made from any club with regards to buying or loaning Podolski from Arsenal.
However, Inter boss Roberto Mancini has reportedly been very busy considering ways he can improve his squad at the Serie A giants this winter, with Podolski one option.
Podolski’s problem should he stay at Arsenal is that he’s not first choice and is unlikely to be for his remaining time at the Emirates.
That could prompt him to take a move away from the Emirates Stadium this winter and if Di Marzio’s claims are accurate, his representatives have already been hard at work.
Unfortunately for the German, Arsenal’s attack is one of the strongest areas of Arsene Wenger’s squad with Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck all currently ahead of him in the pecking order.
