Craig Gordon: Could Roy Keane be at Celtic one day... Who knows?

Celtic

The Bhoys goalkeeper worked with the Irishman at Sunderland.

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has not ruled out the possibility of Roy Keane one day taking over as manager of the Hoops.

The Scot once worked under Keane at Sunderland, with the Irishman expressing regret over how he treated Gordon in his recent autobiography.

And the Celtic stopper admits there is no reason why Keane can't manage the Bhoys at some point in the future.

"I haven’t read it but I have seen the bit where he mentions me," Gordon is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"He talks about one particular training session but I didn’t actually think that much about it. Maybe he was unfair, but it didn’t affect me too much.

"I thought Roy Keane was a good manager and I still think he can be a good manager. He has a lot of good attributes to bring. Maybe sometimes it’s a bit aggressive but it’s the right message.

"He knows what he is talking about and I think he will still be involved in football. Could he be at Celtic one day? Who knows?"
