CONFIRMED: Chelsea v West Ham United line-ups

Stamford Bridge Inside

Here are the sides as Chelsea host West Ham United this lunchtime.

Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Matic, Willian, Fabregas, Oscar, Hazard, Costa

Subs: Cech, Zouma, Luis, Mikel, Ramires, Schurrle, Drogba

West Ham United: Adrian, Jenkinson, Cresswell, Collins, Reid, Noble, Kouyate, Nolan, Downing, Carroll, Valencia

Subs: Jaaskelainen (GK), O'Brien, Song, Amalfitano, Jarvis, Cole, Sakho

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping for a much more comprehensive performance in this game than his side managed in the same fixture last season.

Chelsea’s frustrations in that 0-0 draw produced Mourinho’s comments about West Ham playing ‘19th Century football’ because of the way they sat deep, dug in and secured a point.

Chelsea are under pressure because a slip up could see Manchester City close to within a point of the Blues or even draw level.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has already suggested that his team are playing better football than they managed at times last season and they will be scrapping to defend their position in the top four, as they currently hold the last Champions League spot.
