It was a tough day for West Ham United at Chelsea on Boxing Day.
Jose Mourinho's side dominated possession and kept the ball in West Ham's half as much as physically possible.
One man, however, (two, including goalkeeper Adrian) was impressive in defeat as he created a maroon wall against Chelsea's blue tide.
That man was Winston Reid.

Indeed, as Opta stats show, 26-year-old Reid shone in defence for the Hammers, winning four tackles and making 11 effective clearances. Reid also won four aerial duels and wasn't matched by any West Ham player in terms of his tackles or clearances.
Throughout West Ham's 2-0 defeat, in fact, Reid looked most untroubled by Mourinho's men, as the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa ran at the centre-back only to be foiled by his strength and tackling.
Reid is reportedly a wanted man and will be the subject of several January bids if every story is to be believed. Sam Allardyce could do well to keep him, however. He certainly was one of West Ham's better performers at Chelsea.
