Manchester United fans have received some more positive injury news with midfielder Daley Blind taking part in outside-training for the first time since his knee injury.
The summer signing from Ajax suffered ligament damage on international duty with the Netherlands but he has since recovered and is now looking to build up his match fitness with the games coming thick and fast in the weeks ahead.
Blind has made eight appearances for United since completing his £14million move and it will be interesting to see how manager Louis van Gaal utilises both him and Michael Carrick when the former is available once more.
The 24-year-old shared the news that he had returned to training on his official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon, along with a photograph of his boots.
"The football boots are are back! Started training outside again, great feeling," Blind wrote.
