Middlesbrough v Nottingham Forest (Boxing Day)
Middlesbrough are currently fourth in the Championship and are one of the favourites for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
This means that Aitor Karanka’s side will head into the game against Forest on Boxing Day as favourites, and they should be able to pick up the three points.
Forest, who have not won in four Championship matches, will fancy their chances of a draw at the Riverside Stadium, but they are likely to fall short.
Nottingham Forest v Birmingham City (Sunday)
Forest should be able to pick themselves up and win against Birmingham City, especially as the game is at home.
Manager Stuart Pearce has a better side at his disposal, and that will be decisive at the City Ground.
This does not mean that Birmingham will be easy to roll over, but Forest should not have too much problem in getting a result.
Rochdale v Nottingham Forest (January 3)
League One outfit Rochdale will relish taking on Forest in the third round of the FA Cup and will fancy their chances of an upset.
However, the Championship club will be looking to kick off the New Year on a positive note and should register a comfortable win.
