Michail Antonio still believes that Nottingham Forest can make it into the play-off places this season.
The Reds have been on a steady slide down the Championship table since making a blistering start to the season, but Antonio still harbours ambitions of getting promoted.
The winger thinks that Forest just need to put a run together to breach the seven point gap between them and the play-off spaces.
"Seven points is a big gap to overhaul but the Championship is hard to predict," Antonio is quoted as saying by the Gazette.
"We could win three games in a row and close that gap. We could get straight back in there.
"We are not halfway through yet. All we can do is concentrate on ourselves, concentrate on winning games."
Forest's task of starting this winning run in their next match appears a tough one, though, as they face a high-flying Middlesbrough side.
'Boro have defied expectations this season and currently occupy one of the play-off spots that Forest will be desperately hunting down.
A win over the North East club would help get Forest back on track, but Middlesbrough have been one of the Championship's most exciting sides and Stuart Pearce's men will need to be at the top of their game to stop their attacking threat.
As a result, Forest go into the game as underdogs, but Antonio is not concerned by their status as he believes being the outsiders is something which will help them.
"It will be good to go there with less pressure on us, because we can go there and play our own game," he said.
