Manchester City morning news: City linked with De Bruyne-Ramos swoops, Hart on form

A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester City.

The transfer rumour mill has linked Manchester City with moves for former Chelsea star Kevin De Bruyne and Real Madrid icon Sergio Ramos.

De Bruyne’s transformation since leaving Chelsea sees him now valued at £30 million according to reports, while Ramos is a linchpin of the current Madrid side under Carlo Ancelotti.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says being dropped made him a better player.

Hart lost his number one spot last season, with Costel Pantilimon coming into the side.

“I feel in a good place. I feel I'm in a place where I should be and it's a level I want to keep. We're all aware that last season didn't go according to plan for a tiny bit of the season, but that makes me a better goalkeeper,” said the shot stopper.

Hart has also revealed that he’s simply trying to maintain his best form at the club ahead of the Boxing Day and New Year fixtures.

“To be in the first-team here you have to be at your highest level and you have to understand that and appreciate that. I'm just trying to maintain my best form.”
