Lego Pillar of Autumn Halo ship cost $7,000 to create

A large-scale Lego creation of one of Halo's spacecraft took a rather long time to build.

I'm not really a fan of Halo, which will probably show with my lack of knowledge in this post, but I'm still massively impressed by the Lego creation Halo fan Lee Jones has built.

The "Pillar of Autumn", a huge spacecraft in the Halo universe, has been painstakingly recreated in Lego form by Jones over a 3 and a half year period. The craft weighs in at 100kg, is 2.15m in length and cost around $7,000 in Lego bricks.

Whether you're a fan of Halo or not, we can all appreciate a good Lego construct, right?
