A round up of news stories this morning about Arsenal.
Gary Neville has slammed Arsenal’s current tactics, claiming the midfield is a weak area of the team.
Neville was scathing in his attack on the Gunners after they crumbled late on to lose points in last weekend’s game at Anfield.
“Arsenal were tactically all over the place on Sunday and in the big matches, teams slice through their midfield like a knife through butter. They have too many technical players who don't have bite,” said Neville.
Winston Reid says he’s not bothered about speculation linking him with a move away from West Ham.
Reid has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this winter, as Arsene Wenger looks for an extra defensive option.
“It doesn’t really affect me. It is just one of those things that has been going on in the background,” said the New Zealander.
Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has called for focus over the Christmas and New Year period.
Arsenal will be determined to react on Boxing Day after conceding a late equaliser against Liverpool.
“In probably ten days, we have three or four games so it is going to be a lot. We have to recover well for the next game and if we are ready, it will be fine,” said the Frenchman.
