Touted for a huge move in the summer, Benfica whizkid Goncalo Guedes is yet to establish himself in the first team.
The 18-year-old winger has played only one cup game for Benfica this season, spending the rest of his time with the 'B' team, scoring three goals and providing seven assists in 14 games.
The Mail reported in the summer that Benfica had placed a huge £40 million release clause into his contract, with Arsenal keen on signing the star, predictably dubbed 'the next Cristiano Ronaldo'.
Now Portuguese newspaper O Jogo report Benfica are to look at sending him out on loan in order to speed up his development.
They want him to get regular first team football, and are hoping another Portuguese side in the top flight will take him on.
They won't be short of takers, and nor will Guedes be without an opportunity to shine, in a division in which Manchester United flop Bebe impressed last season.
Benfica are clearly keen Guedes can become a key player for them in 2015/16 and the upcoming few months are a big test for him to prove it - and even continue to attract glances from watching clubs like Arsenal in the process.
