West Ham players react to Leicester victory - featuring Carroll and Kouyate!

West Ham United defeated Leicester City 2-0 at Upton Park yesterday.

West Ham United continued their fine form this season with a 2-0 win over Leicester City at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon.

In an awkward display from the Hammers, Andy Carroll opened the scoring, intercepting a Paul Konchesky backpass before dinking the ball over Ben Hamer and into the Foxes goal.

Sam Allardyce's men put the game to bet in the second half when Stewart Downing curled a superb strike into the corner, sending Leicester to yet another defeat.

The result gives West Ham 31 points from 17 games, meaning they are now just nine points shy of their entire points tally from last season.

Expectation is rising in East London, but the players didn't seem to be feeling the pressure after the game, taking to Twitter to celebrate the victory.

Goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel, left back Aaron Cresswell, midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate, striker Carroll and even co-chairman David Gold sent messages to fans after the latest West Ham win.
