Two in particular were the performances of Scott Brown and Leigh Griffiths, says the Norwegian.
And Celtic's display, as a whole, was encouraging for Deila except for their inability to put away their chances.
“It’s negative to lose a game, of course, but a lot of the play we had in the first-half was high quality but again we have to take our chances," the Celtic boss told reporters.
“We can’t create 10 chances every game and score one. We need to be more effective and if we had done that we would have won the game.
“If we talk about goalscorers, Leigh Griffiths is one. He’s fitter now, sharper and you see that he can score, so that’s positive. Scott Brown also played well today but it’s frustrating that we didn’t get three points.
“Had we played badly, it would have been worse and we can talk about taking chances but it’s all about scoring more than our opponents and today we didn’t do that."
