Sebastian Coates delivered a superb impromptu performance for Sunderland against Newcastle during Sunday afternoon's Tyne-Wear derby.
The on-loan Liverpool defender wasn't scheduled to start but was drafted in after a last-minute injury to Anthony Reveillere during the warm-up. And the result will have rather pleased Sunderland fans.
Coates played his part in another memorable victory for Gus Poyet's side, as Adam Johnson snuck a late winner to beat fierce rivals Newcastle yet again.

Indeed, as Opta stats show, Coates was one of Sunderland's best defenders at Newcastle, winning four tackles, four interceptions and making two clearances.
His performance, however, has also got Liverpool fans talking. Many of them are asking why on Earth they loaned the 24-year-old out to the Black Cats, only to sign Dejan Lovren for £20 million.
And some Liverpool supporters have even called for Brendan Rodgers to recall Coates on Twitter, such was his impressive display against Newcastle.
The Reds have been absolutely woeful at the back so far this campaign and it appears Rodgers is intent on shooting himself in the foot when it comes to his back four. The Liverpool boss has completely neglected working on defending throughout his whole Anfield career and has sent Andre Wisdom and Sunderland's Coates out on loan - two players who have performed better than their first-teamers this term.
