Charlie Austin was the star of the show for Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, as they came from two goals down to defeat West Bromwich Albion 3-2 at home in the Premier League.
Joleon Lescott headed home the opening goal of the match at Loftus Road after just 10 minutes and soon after Silvestre Varela doubled the Baggies’ advantage.
However, Austin stepped up thereafter to turn the tables on and lead QPR to a memorable and much-needed victory.
The 25-year-old striker pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 24th minute and equalised in the opening minutes of the second half.
Then with just four minutes of normal time left, Austin scored the winner for QPR, who are now 15th in the Premier League table with 17 points from as many games, two points above the relegation zone.
After the match, many of the Rangers stars took to social networking site Twitter to sing the praises of Austin, who posed with the matchball.
