Juan Cuadrado celebrates Radamel Falcao's Manchester United goal

The Fiorentina winger, who has been repeatedly linked with the Old Trafford outfit, congratulated his compatriot on scoring against Aston Villa.

Radamel Falcao netted his second goal for Manchester United yesterday, equalising for Louis van Gaal’s men against Aston Villa in their 1-1 Premier League draw.

The Colombian marksman has suffered from injury since completing a loan move from Monaco in the summer, but was on target at Villa Park to save his side’s blushes in yesterday’s clash.

Falcao’s headed strike was treated with celebration on Twitter from international team-mate Juan Cuadrado, who posted a picture of the United attacker after netting the goal.

Ironically, the Fiorentina winger has been repeatedly linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford, especially after starring for Colombia in the World Cup this summer.

Rumblings still persist that Cuadrado could be Premier League-bound and with the January transfer window just around the corner these are unlikely to halt.

It may well be that if United opt to make a move for the Serie A star next month that Falcao’s friendship with the electrifying attacker could work in the Red Devils’ favour.

For the time being, United fans will hope that Falcao can keep fit and continue to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.
