Hector Bellerin to go out on loan?
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is reportedly on the radar of two Premier League clubs who want to sign him on loan in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Star, “with Mathieu Debuchy returning from injury and Calum Chambers ahead in the pecking order, a loan deal is a possibility”.
Arsene Wenger ready to spend?
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seems to have suggested that he can spend money in January if he wants to.
The North London outfit are reportedly interested in a defender, but the Frenchman has publicly denied that he wants to sign any new players.
However, Wenger has dismissed suggestions that he is a ‘miser’ and is quoted as saying by The Guardian: “There is a huge difference between the perception that people have of me and [the reality]: I’m not scared to spend money.
“If you go out with me one night, you will understand that… What I don’t like is to spend money that I don’t have.
“Now I have money so no problem spending it at all. What I fought against was spending money that would have put the future of the club in danger.”
Arsenal's £20m bid for Tottenham Hotspur target
One of the players who has been linked with a move to Arsenal is Bayer Leverkusen defensive midfielder Christoph Kramer.
The 2014 World Cup winner is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach until the end of the season and has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Daily Mail, “Arsenal are ready to make a £20 million January move” for the 23-year-old, with the report adding, “And with Wenger reluctant to buy a stop-gap player in the January window, he would clearly rather pursue a leading target and see if there is a possibility of concluding a deal now, even though getting the midfielder out of Mönchengladbach is extremely complicated.”
Fernando Torres back to Liverpool?
The Daily Mail are also reporting that Fernando Torres could return to his former club Liverpool in January.
According to the report, “Liverpool are seriously considering a January move” for the Spanish striker, who joined AC Milan on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The report has also claimed that “Liverpool may take the 30-year-old on loan with a view to a permanent move”, while £16 million summer signing Mario Balotelli “could be moved on loan to Napoli in January”.
Raheem Sterling urged to stay
Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has been been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with European champions Real Madrid reported to be interested in him.
Bayern Munich are also said to be monitoring the England international, but former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has urged him to remain at Anfield.
“Bayern are one of the best clubs in the world,” The Mirror quotes the 33-year-old as saying. “Pep is a great manager.
“There is no better place in the world for a player like Sterling to be. He would fit in as good players always do. It would benefit him to play in such a team.
“But he should stay at Anfield a bit longer. Brendan Rodgers is also a great manager and will really develop him as a player.”
