Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has played down his personal achievement against Burnley on Saturday.
The 22-year-old Argentina international scored his first goal in the Premier League when he found the target against the Clarets at White Hart Lane.
It was a glorious strike from outside the visitors’ penalty box and had a touch of Gareth Bale about it.
Lamela’s goal proved to be the winner as Spurs defeated the promoted outfit 2-1 at home to maintain their challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The former AS Roma star, though, was modest about his feat and insisted that the team always comes first for him.
The win against Burnley has lifted Tottenham up to sixth in the Premier League table with 27 points from 17 matches, with West Ham United still four points clear of them in fourth place.
