Tony Fernandes and Amit Bhatia react to Queens Park Rangers win v West Bromwich Albion

Charlie Austin scored all three goals as Queens Park Rangers came from two goals down to defeat West Bromwich Albion 3-2 at home in the Premier League.

Queens Park Rangers vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has been singing the praises of striker Charlie Austin.

The 25-year-old Englishman was the star of the show at Loftus Road on Saturday as QPR staged a memorable comeback to get the better West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

The Baggies went 2-0 up after just 20 minutes thanks to goals from Joleon Lescott and Silvestre Varela.

However, Austin spearheaded QPR’s comeback and scored a hat-trick in the 3-2 victory. He netted his first from the penalty spot in the 24th minute, doubled his tally in the opening minutes of the second half and hit the winner four minutes from time.

QPR vice-chairman Bhatia was delighted with Austin’s performance and took to social networking site Twitter to praise him.

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes was also delighted with QPR’s comeback win and hailed the performance on Twitter.

The win has lifted QPR up to 15th in the Premier League table with 17 points from as many matches, two points above the relegation zone.
