Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has been singing the praises of Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray.
The 18-year-old winger has been in impressive form for Birmingham so far this season, scoring four goals and creating 14 chances in 16 Championship appearances, while having a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 56%.
Sherwood, who was in charge of the Spurs for the second half of last season, has included the teenager in his list of rising stars to watch out for in 2015.
“He has attracted a lot of interest from Premier League clubs, especially after his hat-trick against Reading last Saturday,” the Englishman wrote about Gray in The Independent. “I hope if he leaves he joins one that will give him first-team opportunities.”
