Spurs transfer news: Italians want Lennon in swap deal; Schneiderlin latest

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly do a swap deal with Inter Milan that would see Aaron Lennon head to Italy and Fredy Guarin come the other way.

The Colombian international is linked with a move for the duration of every single transfer window but as yet the rumours have not become a reality.

However, Football Italia has picked up on claims from Gazzetta dello Sport that Inter’s new manager Roberto Mancini wants to add width to his side and could use Guarin as bait to sign Lennon.

However, the former Leeds United wide-man has impressed in recent weeks and he may well have a future at White Hart Lane after all.

In other news, the Telegraph claims Arsenal could gazump Tottenham in any move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

It is no secret that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to reunite with the Frenchman but the latest report claims the Gunners will bid if there is any indication the Saints are willing to sell.
