Pelle, Clyne & Long react on Twitter to Southampton's Everton win

The Saints were ecstatic after their 3-0 win over the Toffees.

Graziano Pelle, Shane Long and Nathaniel Clyne led the celebrations on Twitter as Southampton got back to winning ways against Everton on Saturday afternoon.

A Romelu Lukaku own goal was followed by a second from Pelle and a third from Maya Yoshida, as Everton left St Mary's empty handed.

For Southampton, however, the 3-0 win shows they still mean business in the Premier League.

"We were outstanding. As a team, the work was unbelievable and you need that to win games. It is not always about quality. The players showed how you have to fight to win games," Southampton boss Ronald Koeman beamed to BBC Sport reporters after the Everton win.

"If you show more spirit you are invariably more lucky. After the goal we had more belief and more confidence after losing four or five games. Hopefully we got some confidence back.

"The energy Harrison Reed put in was one of the keys to win the game."

And Koeman wasn't the only man delighted with the Saints' performance...
