Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli has said that he is happy to have ended the week on a positive note.
Spurs registered their third win in a row in all competitions on Saturday when they got the better of Burnley 2-1 at home in the Premier League.
Harry Kane put the North London outfit in the lead in the 21st minute and Ashley Barnes equalised before the half-hour mark, but Erik Lamela’s wonder goal just minutes later proved enough for Tottenham to pick up the three points.
The victory over Burnley followed Tottenham’s success over Swansea City away from home in the Premier League and win against Newcastle United at White Hart Lane in League Cup quarter-finals.
Chadli, who has established himself as an important player in Mauricio Pochettino’s side, has expressed his delight with the three successive wins.
The game against Burnley was a potential banana skin, but Tottenham came out unscathed. Spurs would have probably wanted to win by a bigger margin, but the crucial thing is that they won and picked up three points.
Tottenham are very much in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.
