Leeds player ratings: Cook superb, Silvestri impressive... but Bianchi has a shocker

How Leeds' players rated during their 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Marco Silvestri - 7.5/10

The Leeds United goalkeeper made several important saves in the second half and was also good in the air. Let down badly by his defence for Nottingham Forest's opener.

Stephen Warnock - 7/10

Perhaps not on his very best form but this was another solid performance from the experienced left-back. Was good in the tackle and, statistically, was also one of Leeds' best players going forward.

Liam Cooper - 6/10

This was a poor day defensively for the Yorkshire side and, although Cooper was better than Jason Pearce, Forest had two goals disallowed when one should have stood at the very least. A team in better form could have put several past Leeds.

Jason Pearce - 5/10

A bad day at the office for the centre-back, with Leeds all at sea for the first goal.

Sam Byram - 6/10

An 8/10 going forward, with the right-back winning his side the penalty that brought their equaliser. Defensively, however, Byram was equally poor, with crosses aplenty being taken down his flank under no pressure whatsoever.

Tommaso Bianchi - 4/10

Completely lost Matty Fryatt for the goal and lost possession with similar ease throughout the game. Started the season so well but has come in for a lot of criticism lately. Forget Nottingham Forest's offside goals for a minute - Leeds could have won had Bianchi simply bothered to stay with his man.

Alex Mowatt - 6/10

Anonymous for large periods, although he produced the occasional good tackle. Mowatt has certainly seen better days for the Elland Road outfit.

Lewis Cook - 8/10

This was a superb display from the 17-year-old, who helped out defensively, created chances and burst forward whenever he could from counterattacks. Leeds have some player on their hands.

Adryan - 6/10

Beat his man well when he was in the zone but, ultimately, the Brazilian produced a typical Adryan performance. Full of promise - and then nothing. The fact that Adryan is three years older than Cook puts into perspective how good the Englishman is - and how much more Adryan really needs to offer.

Mirco Antenucci - 6/10

Looked threatening but was severely restricted through a real lack of service. His best chance came on his weaker left foot.

Billy Sharp - 7/10

Took a mean penalty and helped out all over the pitch. Threatened when he had the chance and may have earned himself a recall for Leeds' next Championship clash.

Steve Morison - 6/10

Kept things tight after replacing Adryan and made some good challenges.

Michael Tonge and Souleymane Doukara also came on late in the game, as the latter tested Karl Darlow with a stinging shot with minutes to go.
