The Reds legend has put a lot of emphasis on defence...
The Gunners will return to the ground they were destroyed 5-1 last season - although things will be a little different for the home side now.
Both teams have had their struggles, as Dalglish points out, and will need good fortune to outdo one another.
But the biggest factor to decide Liverpool - Arsenal will be the quality of either team's defending, Dalglish claims.
"Both teams have had problems defensively," the former Anfield boss wrote in his weekly column for the Daily Mirror.
"Arsenal have had to contend with a lot of injuries there while Liverpool’s goal difference is in the minus, so they’ll be looking to address that.
"Every game depends on a bit of good fortune, so maybe the team that wins will be the one that has that bit of luck on the day. But I would think the team that defends best will win. If you don’t lose goals, you’re always in the game."
