CONFIRMED: Manchester City and Crystal Palace line-ups

Here is how Manchester City and Crystal Palace will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Manchester City starting XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Navas, Toure, Silva, Nasri, Milner

Manchester City subs: Caballero, Boyata, Sagna, Fernando, Lampard, Ambrose, Sinclair

Crystal Palace starting XI: Speroni, Kelly, Dann, Hangeland, Ward, Bolasie, Jedinak, Ledley, McArthur, Puncheon, Campbell

Crystal Palace subs: Hennessey, Mariappa, Delaney, Bannan, Thomas, Gayle, Zaha

Manchester City welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium in today’s lunchtime kick-off with Manuel Pellegrini’s men eager to close the gap on Premier League leaders Chelsea.

City will know everything can change in the busy festive period and will want to maintain their winning form in the hope that their title rivals slip up. But Palace will have one eye on a shock this afternoon with the Eagles desperate to climb away from the relegation zone.

That said, it is 19 years since Palace defeated City in the top flight and it would be an almighty surprise if that changed for the better this afternoon.
