Kyle Walker SPurs V Arsenal

Chris Morgan believes that Tottenham Hotspur stars Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton will be relishing the prospect of facing Sheffield United in the League Cup semi-finals.

Sheffield United first-team coach Chris Morgan is looking forward to the return of Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton.

The Tottenham Hotspur duo will face their former club United in the semi-finals of the League Cup in the New Year.

The first leg of the tie will be held at Spurs’ White Hart Lane on January 21, with the Blades’ Bramall Lane to host the second leg the following week.

Both Walker and Naughton came through the club’s youth system before joining Tottenham in the summer of 2009.

“I am sure they will be excited about it, particularly Kyle Walker who is just coming back from his long-term injury,” the 37-year-old told United’s official website.

"He is just getting back into the team and he will be dying to play. They will be looking forward to it - two good servants for us, another couple of good, young lads who came through the system.”

Tottenham are currently involved in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League, while United are looking for promotion from League One to the Championship.
