Two injured Manchester United's player sent tweets to the club in the build-up to the match against Aston Villa.
Manhester United took to the field against Aston Villa without many of their summer signings.
While Angel Di Maria started the match on the bench and Marcos Rojo continued his recovery from a thigh injury, two other recent arrivals at Old Trafford took to Twitter to wish their club well.
Luke Shaw is currently recovering from an ankle injury while Daley Blind is expected to return on Boxing Day following a knee problem, but both men took time to send tweets to their United teammates this weekend.
Shaw told his side to bring another three points back to Old Trafford while Blind kept it short and sweet, writing, "Good luck lads."
Both players will ultimately prove to be vital to Louis van Gaal's side but for now it is up those stars United can currently call on to maintain a winning run that has seen them tipped to play a part in a title race that once looked beyond them.
Another important game today come on lads! Bring back the 3 points #MUFC— Luke Shaw (@LukeShaw3) December 20, 2014
