Chelsea are through to the League Cup semi-finals after a comfortable 3-1 victory against Championship high-flyers Derby County.
Goals from Eden Hazard, Filipe Luis and Andre Schurrle did the trick for Chelsea, but at one point it looked like the result would come at a price.
On the stroke of half-time Petr Cech and French defender Kurt Zouma both battled for an aerial ball. Cech punched the ball clear of danger, but Zouma then crashed head on into the side of Cech's protective helmet.
Zouma, a £12 million signing from Saint Etienne who arrived at Chelsea this summer, fell to the floor in a heap. After moments lying hopeless help was called, although the response was not quick enough for Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas. The Chelsea stars helped run the stretched onto the pitch for the fallen colossus.
He left the game, but after the fixture he was in the dressing room laughing and joking with his team-mates.
He is expected to be fit for the fixture against Stoke City at The Britannia Stadium on Monday night and he was even shown heading into training for the Blues earlier today - just to show he is as fit as a fiddle.
