Notch has bought a luxurious home in Los Angeles which includes a 16-car garage and a candy room.

You're the creator of Minecraft, one of the best-selling and most-played games of all-time, you've just signed a deal to sell the game and development studio that created it to Microsoft for $2.5 billion - what do you do? Well, you buy a Beverly Hills mansion for $70 million, of course!

That's exactly what Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson has just done, and fair play to him!

Notch was reportedly beat competition to buy the home, as Jay Z and Beyonce were said to be eyeing it up too.

So, what does $70 million get you in Beverly Hills? The house is said to have 8 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, and 16-car garage that has an elevator in it to move vehicles down to a gallery-style showroom in the basement.

Notch tweeted a picture of himself chilling in the candy room last night:

My words don't do it justice, just watch the video of the mansion below and feel your jaw drop.
