Michael Owen predicts West Ham United v Leicester City

West Ham

Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen looks ahead to tomorrow’s Premier League clash between West Ham United and Leicester City.

Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has predicted West Ham United to win against Leicester City tomorrow.

The Hammers will take on the Foxes at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League and will be looking to return to winning ways.

West Ham won their first two matches of the month, but last weekend Sam Allardyce’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Owen, though, expects the London outfit to pick up all three points against promoted side Leicester and wrote on Betvictor: "The Hammers will be in many punters’ weekend wagers and I thought they would be a much shorter price than 7/10 for the visit of a Leicester City side without a win in their last eleven. The Irons’ have never been in the top four of the PL at Xmas; until 2014!”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: West Ham to win at 7/10”

A quick look at the Premier League table will justify Owen’s confidence in West Ham. The Hammers are currently fourth in the standings with 28 points from 16 matches, while Leicester have picked up just 10 points and find themselves at the bottom.

Leicester cannot be written off just yet, but West Ham are overwhelming favourites. Anything other than a home will be a surprise.
