Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has been singing the praises of Stoke City striker Bojan Krkic.
The 24-year-old Spaniard joined the Potters from Barcelona in the summer transfer window and has been among the goals recently.
In 11 Premier League appearances, Bojan has scored two goals and created 17 chances, while having a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 43%, and winning 47% of the duels.
Bojan has scored against both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal this season, and former Liverpool defender Carragher has warned Chelsea against taking him lightly.
“He has looked really good,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “I remember that goal he got at Tottenham, it was a really good goal and he was very unfortunate not to get a goal at Anfield as well, he hit the woodwork and was denied by a great save from Mignolet at the end.
“His performance against Arsenal was outstanding as well. He has had a big reputation for a long time and hasn’t really taken off as a player but he has come to the Premier League and after a few months he is proving to be a good signing for Stoke.”
Bojan will be looking to find the target against Chelsea on Monday when Stoke host the Blues at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League.
Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea will be favourites heading into the match, but the Potters will be buoyant having got the better of Arsenal 3-2 in their last home match.
Stoke are currently 12th in the Premier League table with 19 points from 16 matches, while Chelsea are three points clear at the top of the standings.
